Luis Milla believes Como are "well-prepared" for their landmark Champions League debut against RB Leipzig this evening. The match is scheduled to begin at 20:00 UK time (21:00 CEST) at the Stadio Sinigaglia.

This marks a historic occasion as Como, who were in Serie B just over two years ago and secured fourth place in Serie A last season, play their first-ever Champions League fixture. Their strong start to the current season, with recent victories over Napoli and Genoa, has built momentum, but facing RB Leipzig represents a significant challenge.

Milla: New Talent Bolsters Como's Squad

Milla shared with Sky Sport Italia, "We have worked diligently to ensure our readiness, and such effort brings us closer to achieving our goals." He added, "Although it is a young squad, it is tactically sound. My aim is to support this club's continued development and achieve positive results."

The team will be without Jayden Addai due to injury, while Maxence Caqueret and Edoardo Goldaniga were not included in the UEFA squad list. Manager Cesc Fabregas has been focused on integrating new summer signings with the existing core of players who propelled Como to this stage.

Milla is one of three new faces expected in the starting lineup, alongside Trevoh Chalobah and Yan Couto.
