Sassuolo Sets €30 Million Price Tag for Winger Laurienté Amidst Ipswich Town Interest

English club Ipswich Town has reportedly made an inquiry about Sassuolo winger Armand Laurienté. This comes after earlier interest from Turkish clubs such as Besiktas, Fenerbahce, and Trabzonspor.

The 27-year-old player has been a subject of transfer speculation for several years, though negotiations have often stalled before reaching a final agreement.

This past summer, Laurienté was reportedly close to a move to Besiktas, with Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor also expressing interest in his services.

Laurienté on Ipswich Town's Radar

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Gianluigi Longari, Ipswich Town has now approached Sassuolo to inquire about Laurienté's availability.

Laurienté primarily operates as a left-winger but is versatile enough to play on the right flank or as a 'False 9'.

It has been reported that Sassuolo has set an asking price of approximately €30 million for the player.

Laurienté recently extended his contract with Sassuolo, whom he joined in 2022 from FC Lorient for an initial fee of €10.1 million plus add-ons. These add-ons include a provision for Sassuolo to receive 20% of any future profit made from his sale.

During his tenure with Sassuolo, the French winger has scored 38 goals in 141 appearances and has provided 27 assists for his teammates.
