Following the acquisition of Ferran Torres, PSG continues its recruitment drive with the arrival of Mika Godts. The 21-year-old Belgian winger has signed a five-year contract, in a transfer reportedly worth €45 million, with potential add-ons of up to €10 million in bonuses.

It's now official: Mika Godts is a Parisian. After the announcement of Ferran Torres' arrival, the 21-year-old Belgian is set to strengthen the PSG squad. The capital club has paid €45 million for his services, with an additional €10 million in potential bonuses included in the deal.

Even before the final agreement between Ajax Amsterdam and PSG was reached, Godts had already agreed to personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, signing a five-year contract set to run until June 2031. This demonstrates the mutual desire of both parties to expedite the operation.

The young winger is coming off an exceptional season with Ajax Amsterdam, where he recorded 17 goals and 15 assists in the 2025-2026 season. Already a Belgian international with two caps, he also possesses prior Champions League experience, having already competed at the highest level of European football. PSG views the player as exceptionally promising and believes he has the necessary qualities to reach a new level in Paris.

Anticipated Recruitment but With an Expected Role This Season

Mika Godts' arrival was not a spur-of-the-moment decision. PSG has been monitoring the Belgian's development for several seasons and identified his potential early on, as well as his ability to fit into the club's project. His signing is therefore a strategic move aimed at future-proofing and nurturing young talent with high potential for the near future.

However, PSG is not solely focused on preparing for the coming years with Godts. Behind the scenes in Paris, it's indicated that the young winger is expected to play a role this season and contribute his talents to the squad quickly.
